Colour space

It is generally preferable to work with spot colours instead of using the CMYK mode. An exception is multicolour printing of raster graphics that require colour separations. It should be noted that the available colours do not correspond to the CMYK colour space and therefore the print’s colour results deviate accordingly. Examples of the possible conversion of RGB or CMYK data into data suitable for risography can be found in the previous section on Separations (2D, page 53).
