Transparancies

If the layout contains transparencies, the risograph not only takes longer to process the file, it can also happen that the quality of the print result is below-average. This can be remedied by adjusting the opacity in a program like Photoshop. Afterwards, the file can be opened in InDesign without layer effects.

Publish PDFs

There are several ways to choose from when exporting files from InDesign to create a PDF, one of them being the Export File function within InDesign. Another, more complicated but also more comprehensive way is available via PostScript files, provided a booklet is to be imposed and printed or something similar, for example.
