Sven Tillack (*1986 in Neuwied am Rhein, Germany) is a graphic designer from Stuttgart, Germany. He co-founded Studio Tillack Knöll in 2018, specializing in digital, spatial, and print design. Tillack studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart, where he also taught from 2018–2024. While studying he held the tutor’s position at the Institute For Book Design and Media Developement at Stuttgart State Academy Of Fine Arts and researched riso printing for many years, resulting in the develpement of color profiles for riso printing among other results. This lead up to the release of “Exploriso: Low-tech fine Art (Risography as an artistic printing process)” (Self-published, 2017) and the re-release „Exploriso: Low-tech fine Art (Risographie als künstlerisches Druckverfahren)” (Spector Books, 2022). His work focuses on strategic visual communication, and his studio works for and with cultural institutions, architects, and NGOs. His work has gained international recognition through exhibitions, lectures, and publications.
